A Call for Applications was recently launched with a due  date of
March 3, 2010. Short-term research opportunities are available for
undergraduate students at M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in the Division
of Cancer Prevention and Population Sciences (CPPS) for this summer
2010 and next summer – 2011.

The CPPS plans to support 8 undergraduate
students for a 3-month summer fellowship in 2010 and then another 8
undergrads in 2011. Participants in the program receive a stipend of
up to $2,166 per month for the three-month period. The opportunity is
for rising juniors, seniors, and recently graduated baccalaureates who
are headed to grad school in science or health who are US citizens or
permanent residents, particularly under-represented minority students.
