A postdoctoral position is available to study the structure-function relationship
of the chloride transporter ClC-5 by electrophysiological and spectroscopical techniques.
ClC-5 is a chloride/proton antiporter involved in Dent disease, a human genetic
disease. The biophysical properties of this protein are still largely unexplored. The
project offers the opportunity to conduct a biophysical investigation with important physiological
implications.
